You can play your numbers in just the upcoming draw, or in multiple consecutive draws.
Pay for your tickets before sales close. One set of numbers costs CA$3.
Wait for the draw to take place and check the winning numbers to find out if you are due a prize.
There are a few differences in how to play depending on where in Canada you buy your ticket, such as the number of consecutive draws you can enter at a time. Ticket sales close at 10:30 p.m. ET (9:30 p.m. CT, 8:30 p.m. MT, 7:30 p.m. PT) on draw days, with the numbers selected shortly afterwards.
The extra features that you can add to your ticket in each province will increase the cost of playing, but they also give you another chance to win. Here are the optional add-ons for the various regions:
- Atlantic Canada – Tag
- British Columbia – Extra
- Ontario – Encore
- Quebec – Extra
- Western Canada – Extra
These provincial games all work a bit differently, even the various versions of Extra, but mostly they involve having to match a sequence of numbers between 0 and 9. The more you get in the correct position, the larger your prize. The BC version of Extra involves four numbers being drawn between 1 and 99.
How to Win
You win prizes in Daily Grand by matching the numbers you have picked to the numbers that are drawn. You need all your numbers to be the same to get the jackpot of CA$1,000 a day for life. There are also eight lower prize tiers if you match fewer numbers. Go to the Odds and Prizes page to see all the ways you can win.
How to Claim
Claiming Daily Grand prizes is straightforward, but the process is not always the same. You need to take into account how much you have won and where you bought your ticket. Visit the Claiming Prizes page to learn all about what you need to do.
