Millionaire for Life Odds and Prizes

There are nine prize categories in Millionaire for Life: two big lifetime annuities, and seven other fixed prizes, which you can win by matching any two balls or more. Based on the game's name, you can probably guess the top prize!

How to Win Millionaire for Life

Millionaire for Life is a simple lottery, with no quirks or catches. To win, simply match as many of the six numbers (five numbers from 1 to 58 and one Bonus number from 1 to 5) as you can - match more numbers to win bigger prizes. Get all six right, and you'll win a lifetime annuity of $1 million every year.

To hit the jackpot, you'll need to match all of the five main numbers, plus the Bonus number. Do this, and you can kick back and rake in $1,000,000 every year for the rest of your life, or a one-off payment of $18 million should you choose to accept your prize as a cash lump sum.

If you get all five main numbers right but miss the Bonus Ball, there's a second-place lifetime annuity of $100,000 or $2.2 million upfront. Not sure which you'd pick? There are good arguments for each, which you can read over on the Cash vs Annuity page.
