Participating States
Millionaire for Life is a multi-state lottery that can be enjoyed in many parts of the U.S., with its large player pool helping to fund incredible prizes such as the $1-million-a-year-for-life jackpot.
*Please note that the full list of states has yet to be confirmed. It will be published on this page as soon as it is announced, ahead of the scheduled launch of Millionaire for Life in February/March 2026.
You can only buy tickets for Millionaire for Life in participating states, but you don’t have to be a resident to take part. For example, if you’re from Nevada and visiting Montana, you can still play as long as you’re at least 18 years old.

The Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) began to explore the possibility of a national ‘For Life’ game years before the launch happened. The idea was to introduce a single product in place of Lucky for Life and Cash for Life – it would work in a similar way but would offer bigger and better prizes than the $1,000 a day that could be won on those two lotteries.
It is anticipated that most – if not all – of the states where you can play Lucky for Life or Cash4Life will join the new Millionaire for Life game.
The participating states for Lucky for Life are: Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming.
You can play Cash4Life in the following locations – Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia.
Millionaire for Life is also set to get extra participating states. The West Virginia Lottery, for example, was one of the first to confirm that it would sell tickets for Millionaire for Life, despite not previously offering Cash4Life or Lucky for Life.
