How to Claim Prizes
Getting your hands on a prize is the best part of playing any lottery! The good news is that it’s easy to claim prizes in Indiana:
- Prizes up to $600 – There are two options. Redeem your winning ticket at a retailer or claim by mail. Please note that some retailers may not be able to pay out prizes of more than $25, so claiming by mail is encouraged.
- Over $600 – Mail in your winning ticket or visit one of the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment Centers, located in Indianapolis, Mishawaka or Evansville.
- Top Two Prizes – You’ll need to claim either of these prizes in person, so you should start by contacting the Hoosier Lottery at 1-800-955-6886 to schedule an appointment.
If you’re claiming by mail, you’ll need to sign and complete the information on the back of your winning ticket. Attach a completed claim form (for prizes of more than $600), along with a copy of photo ID such as your passport or driver’s license. The address for mail-in claims is as follows:

Indiana 'for Life' History
Indiana has established itself as the most successful state in Powerball history, but it did not create a single winner of the top prize in Cash4Life, which pre-dated Millionaire for Life. Cash4Life was introduced in Indiana in September 2016 and ended on February 21, 2026, to make room for the new game.
