How to Play Millionaire for Life in New Hampshire
Millionaire for Life can be a lot of fun and is simple to play. Below is a play guide specific to New Hampshire. Find a more generic guide for the game at our how to play page. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a Millionaire for Life ticket in New Hampshire.
- Pick Numbers: Millionaire for Life requires you to pick five main numbers between 1 and 58 and a Millionaire Ball between 1 and 5. Do it yourself or use our Millionaire for Life number generator for random numbers Quick Pick style.
- Select Multi-Draw (optional): Select this option on the play slip to enter multiple drawings at once (or check the relevant box if you’re playing online). In the Granite State, you can enter as many as 21 consecutive drawings in advance to increase the excitement.
- Buy Ticket: That’s all. Simply buy your ticket by handing it in at the register of your chosen retail store, or follow the steps to the checkout stage if you’re playing online. Complete this step no later than 10:15 PM, as this is when ticket sales cut off for this game. Tickets cost $5 each.

How to Claim Prizes in NH
How you claim winnings depends on the prize tier you matched. Find everything you need to claim confidently below:
- $599 or less: You can claim prizes up to $599 at any New Hampshire lottery retailer. This includes any prize from the lowest prize tier up to Match 4. Alternatively, send your name, address, and phone number with your valid ticket to the New Hampshire lottery headquarters (mailing address below) to claim by mail.
- $600 or more: Prizes of $600 and above like the Match 4 plus Millionaire Ball prize can be claimed by mail. Alternatively, claim them in person by visiting the New Hampshire lottery headquarters. In both cases, you will need to provide photo ID, Social Security Number, and your valid signed lottery ticket.
- Jackpots: If you win either of the two jackpots, you will need to fill out a claim form, as well as provide photo ID, Social Security Number, and Millionaire for Life ticket. Funds are typically transferred within several week, but this is not always guaranteed.

Ahead of the launch, Executive Director of NH Lottery Charlie McIntyre emphasized “driving maximum revenue in support of the students, teachers and schools of this state” as a primary goal of introducing new offerings. This shows a positive motivation by the state and rings true with the state’s motto: live free or die!
