When do Set for Life draws take place?

Set for Life draws are held every day. Ticket sales close at 9:00 p.m., with the numbers drawn shortly afterwards.

How do I play?

To play Set for Life, you need to select seven numbers from 1 to 44. Go to the How to Play page for full instructions.

What are the supplementary numbers?

In Set for Life, two supplementary numbers are drawn after the main seven have been selected. These supplementary numbers help to create more prize divisions and extra chances to win.

Can I play multiple draws in advance?

In Set for Life, you are automatically entered into the next seven consecutive draws. You can select a Multi-week entry to play between two and 10 weeks, or even submit an Advance entry to play a future date anytime within the next 10 weeks.

What is the minimum age to play?

You have to be at least 18 years old to play Set for Life.

How much can I win in Set for Life?

If you match all seven main numbers, you win AU$20,000 every month for 20 years. Get six main numbers and one supplementary and you’ll receive $5,000 a month for one year. Go to the Odds and Prizes page to see all the prize divisions.

Is there a cash alternative to the monthly prizes?

No. All winners are paid out in monthly instalments.

What are the odds of winning?

The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 38,320,568. With seven other prize divisions, your overall chances of winning are 1 in 50.

What happens if nobody wins?

The top prize does not roll over if there are no tickets that match all the numbers. It stays the same in every draw.

Is the jackpot shared if there are multiple winners?

No, the prize is paid out in full if there are between two and four winners. If there are five or more winners, an amount of AU$19.2 million is split between them.

What happens if a winner dies before 20 years have gone by?

The rest of the money is paid out to the winner’s estate if they die before 20 years have passed.
