Tennessee 'for Life' History
Since joining the ‘for life’ lottery in 2015 with Lucky for Life, Tennessee has offered life-changing lottery draws to its residents for a long time. This game would eventually be retired in early 2026 and be replaced by a game that’s about three times as exciting, due to the tripled jackpot. Lucky for Life offered a top prize of $1,000 a day for life.
Designed to encourage younger players to take part and get a lifetime’s supply of wealth, Millionaire for Life has taken the lottery world by storm. Proceeds from the game support state educational initiatives, including the HOPE Scholarship and Pre-K programs.
