Mississippi 'for Life' History
When Millionaire for Life began on February 22, 2026, the list of participating states mostly consisted of jurisdictions that had previously offered Cash4Life or Lucky for life. Mississippi was one of two states that had not sold tickets for either of those games. The MS Lottery only started in November 2019, and it has gradually added to its portfolio of games in the years since its launch.
Mississippi Lottery President Jeff Hewitt said of the new game: “Millionaire for Life gives players the chance to dream big every day. Winning $1 million a year, year after year, would be life-changing, and this game has the potential to make that a reality.”
